Media Expression Unit 1

What we looked at first was Television Production Formats such as series, films, comedy, action, documentary, the weather, news, drama and thriller.Next we looked at International Formats like Grand designs, The voice, Big brother, X-factor, Dragons den, Total wipeout and Top Gear.We then looked at some television shows which were Father Brown, Nuacht TG4, The big bang theory, Breakfast and The great british bake off. We also looked at the different roles people do while making films. Some of these are the director who guides the actors and film crew through each shot, the writer who writes the script and what happens in the story, the producer who makes sure that the set and equipment is put in the right place and the presenter who edits and puts the finishing touches on a film.
