Graphic Design Learning Outcome 10

In this learning outcome we learned how to make a postcard using Adobe InDesign.

To make this we had to learn some of the tools this software had which were Kerning which allows you to adjust space between individual letter forms.

Tracking is where you can loosen or tighten a block of text.

Leading allows you to add space between lines of type which is very useful, The select tool lets you select text and graphics frames, and you can also work with an object.

The type tool allows you to add certain types of text. You can adjust the size, font and also how much space you need to add the text, its a very useful tool.

The rectangle tool lets you add rectangle shapes, you can adjust the size of the rectangle and the angle of it.

The polygon tool lets you add shapes with a large number of sides its useful if want to add some style to your postcard.

Printer’s marks allows you to be able to print out the postcard giving you a large number of options letting you you be able to print out the postcard in the highest quality.

A PDF lets you be able to export your postcards in the highest resolution possible useful for moving your creations around your computer and sending them around the world.
